Herbstmondnacht (Autumn Moon Story - A Tale from the Land of the Morning Calm)' is a musical theatre piece, in which a modern fairytale from Korea is told. The story is about life's virtues and the customs of the Hangawi Festival, where Koreans meet up to give thanks to the nature gods and to communicate with their ancestors.
Autumn Moon Story is a rare opportunity to see the UNESCO intangible cultural world heritage of Pansori and to experience the deep rooted shamanistic culture of Korea in Germany.
A photographic exhibition 'Human' with pictures from Korea will accompany the performance.
